ABSTRACT Objective: To investigate the cognition of human papillomavirus (HPV) and its vaccine among female residents in Yaohai district of Hefei city, and to analyze the influencing factors of vaccination willingness. Methods: 6 communities in Yaohai district of Hefei city from March 2021 to January 2023 for investigation were selected by multi-stage random sampling method. Investigate the cognition of HPV and its vaccine among female residents in Yaohai district of Hefei city were conducted by self-involved questionnaire survey, and the influencing factors of vaccination willingness were analyzed by multivariate Logistic regression model. Results: A total of 1124 questionnaires were distributed in this survey, and 1118 questionnaires were recovered, the effective rate of the questionnaire was 99.47%. Among the 1118 female residents in Yaohai district of Hefei city, the awareness rate of "HPV positive does not necessarily have cervical cancer" was 75.04%. The awareness rate of "appropriate age for vaccination of various HPV vaccines" was low, which was 4.20%. Among the 1118 respondents, 804 (71.91%) said they were willing to receive HPV vaccine, and 314 (28.09%) said they were unwilling to receive HPV vaccine, respondents were divided into willing group (n=804) and unwilling group (n=314) according to whether they were willing to receive HPV vaccine. The willingness of HPV vaccination was related to age, family per capita monthly income, education level, marital status, sexual life history, awareness of HPV vaccine, insufficient vaccine supply, have children, and have relatives and friends with tumors(P<0.05), it was not related to occupation and residence(P>0.05). The results of multivariate Logistic regression model analysis showed that: the education level was primary school and below, the marriage and childbearing status was married, the vaccine supply was insufficient, the per capita monthly income of the family was<3000 yuan, the sexual life history, and the awareness of HPV vaccine were the influencing factors of HPV vaccination willingness(P<0.05). Conclusion: The awareness rate of HPV and its vaccine among female residents in Yaohai district of Hefei city is relatively high, and the willingness to vaccinate is relatively high. At the same time, the influencing factors of vaccination willingness mainly include education level, marital status, insufficient vaccine supply, family per capita monthly income, sexual life history, and knowledge of HPV vaccine.
