Objective:To explore the relationship between ERα-29 gene polymorphisms and HBV -related hepatocellular carcinoma. Methods:polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism was conducted to detect the ERα-29 gene polymorphisms of 100 HBV-related hepatocellular carcinoma patients and 95 healthy people. The alleles and genotypes between these two groups were compared. Results:The numbers of TT, TC and CC genotype of ERα-29 gene in the PHC group were 31 cases (31.00%)、45 cases(45.00%)and 24 cases(24.00%), while the rate of T and C allele were 53.50%and 46.50%respectively. The numbers of TT,TC and CC genotype of ERα-29 gene in the control group were 11 cases(11.58%),39 cases(41.05%)and 45cases(47.37%), while the rate of T and C allele were 32.11% and 67.89% respectively. The rate of genotypes and alleles between these two groups all had statistical difference(P<0.05). Compared to the C allele, the incidence of PHC of T allele carrier was 2.43 times higher(OR=2.43, 95%CI: 1.37~4.32).Conclusion:ERα-29 has a relationship with HBV-related hepatocellular carcinoma, and the T allele carrier can increase the risk.
