Objective:To study the clinical efficacy of video assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS)in the treatment of traumatic
hemopneumothorax and effect on serum hypersensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP)and C-reactive protein (CRP)levels, and to provide
basis for clinical treatment.Methods:60 cases of patients with traumatic hemopneumothorax were selected in our hospital from
November 2005 to November 2015, and were divided into the study group and the control group according to the operation mode, and
with 30 cases of patients in each group, the study group was treated with VATS, the control group was treated with open chest surgery,
compared the operation time, blood loss, thoracic drainage, drainage time, hospitalization time and complications of patients between the
two groups, observed the hs-CRP and CRP levels in serum before operation and 1, 3 days and 1 weeks after operation.Results:The
operation time, drainage time and hospitalization time of the study group were significantly shorter than the control group, the blood loss
and thoracic drainage were significantly less than the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05); The incidence
of complications in the study group was significantly lower than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);
The hs-CRP and CRP levels before operation in the two groups was not statistically significant (P>0.05), Hs-CRP levels in two groups
were significantly increased after operation, and the control group was significantly higher than that of the study group 1 day after
operation, CRP levels in two groups were significantly increased, the control group was significantly higher than that of the study group,
Hs-CRP levels decreased significantly, and the study group was lower than the control group at 3 days after operation, the hs-CRP levels
of two groups 1 weeks after operation were significantly decreased compared with the 1 day after operation, and the CRP levels
decreased significantly compared with the 3 days after operation, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:VATS
treatment of traumatic hemopneumothorax with short operation time, less injury to patients, fewer complications, both hs-CRP and CRP
are increase in different degree after operation, and began to decrease after 1 week. |
