The patients with diabetic cardiomyopathy (DCM) process the wider and more severe cardiac pathological changes.
Its increasing morbidity and mortality rate and lack of effective therapy lead to a necessity of finding other treatments. Mesenchymal stem
cells (MSCs) with the multiple differentiation potentials can influence on DCMthrough various mechanisms, improving cardiac ejection
fraction and ventricular remodeling. It is regarded as a promising therapy. The pathogensis of DCMand the treatment mechanisms are focused
in this review to provide pre-clinial basis for DCM. |
