Objective:To investigate the effect of 131I on the serum sex hormones and thyroglobulin levels of male patients with
hyperthyroidism.Methods:74 cases of male hyperthyroidism patients treated in our hospital were selected and randomly divided into the
control group and experimental group with 37 cases in each group. Patients in control group were given oral administration of 20-30 mg/
times, 1 times per day. Patients in the experimental group were given 131I treatment based on the control group. After the end of treatment,
the detection and compared between the two groups of patients with serum free triiodothyronine (FT3), free thyroxine (FT4), thyroid
stimulating hormone (TSH), testosterone (T) and estradiol (E2), thyroglobulin (TG) level changes and clinical curative effect in detection
and compared.Results:Compared with before treatment, the serum FT3, FT4, t, E2, TG levels of both groups were decreased after
treatment, the TSH level was significantly increased (P<0.05); compared with the control group, the serum FT3, FT4, t, E2, TG levels
were lower, the TSH level and clinical effective rate were higher (P < 0.05).Conclusion:131I could reduce the serum FT3, FT4, T, E2,
TG levels of male patients with hyperthyroidism, increased TSH level and had better clinical effect. |
