Objective:To analyze the clinical characteristics of Helicobacter pylori infection in patients with chronic hepatitis B
and hepatocirrhosis. Methods:A total of 58 patients, who underwent stomachoscopy in Hainan Provincial People's Hospital from May
2013 to May 2014, were selected, including 17 patients with hepatocirrhosis (hepatocirrhosis group), 22 patients with chronic hepatitis B
(chronic hepatitis B group), and 19 other patients (normal group). The hepatocirrhosis group was divided into mild group (n=5), medium
group(n=7) and severe group(n=5) according to the severity of portal hypertension Then clinical characteristics of Helicobacter pylori infection
among the three groups were compared. Results:The Helibacter pylori infection rate in hepatocirrhosis group, chronic hepatitis
B group and normal group were 23.5%, 22.7%, and 21.1% respectively, there was no significant differences among the three groups
(x2=2.872, P=0.072). The Helicobacter pylori infection rate in mile, medium and severe groups were 20.0%(1/5), 28.6%(2/7), and 20.0%
(1/5) respectively, there was no significant differences among the three groups (x2=1.892, P=0.082).Conclusion:The chronic hepatitis B,
hepatocirrhosis and other ordinary patients have a similar status of infection, and helicobacter pylori infection has no
impact on portal hypertension of hepatocirrhosis. |
