Objective:To investigate the effect of losartan on the level of hemoglobin, electrolyte and NO in patients with chronic renal insufficiency.Methods:140 patients with chronic renal insufficiency from our hospital were selected and divided into the control group and the experiment group with 70 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were treated with lotensin, while the patients in the experiment group were treated with losartan. Then the Hb, HCT, serum calcium, phosphorus, potassium, ET and NO levels were detected and compared before and after treatment between two groups. Results:Compared with before treatment, the levels of Hb, HCT, blood calcium and NO were higher in the two groups, and the serum levels of potassium, phosphorus and ET were lower after the treatment, and the differences were statistically significant differences (P<0.04); Compared with the control group, the levels of Hb, HCT, blood calcium and NO were higher in the experiment group, and the serum levels of potassium, phosphorus and ET were lower, and the differences were statistically significant differences(P<0.04).Conclusion:Losartan can significantly increase the level of hemoglobin and NO in patients with chronic renal insufficiency, restore the balance of electrolytes and improve prognosis.
