Objective:To compare the clinical effects of small incision non-phacoemulsification emulsion with ultrasonic
emulsification cataract extracapsular extraction gettering treatment for the elderly patients.Methods:100 patients with senile cataract who
were treated in our hospital from March 2014 to March 2015 were selected and according to different surgical methods, the patients were
divided into two groups with 50 patients in each group. The patients in the observation group were treated with the small incision
phacoemulsification extracapsular cataract extraction, while the patients in the control group were treated with the ultrasound
phacoemulsification. Then the intraocular pressure, visual acuity and complications in the two groups were observed and compared. Results:The IOP of 2 h, 6 h and 12 h after the treatment in the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the
differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no statistically significant difference about the IOP in the two groups after
the treatment for 48 h (P>0.05). The visual acuity of the observation group after the treatment for 1 week was better than that of the
control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no statistically significant difference about the visual
acuity in the two groups after the treatment for 1 month and 3 months, (P>0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group
was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion:It is worthy of clinical
application that the small incision extracapsular extraction has better effects for patients with cataract, which has the advantages of
reducing iop, improving the visual acuity and decreasing the postoperative complications. |
