Objective:To observe the expressions of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) and tyrosine kinase receptor B
(TrkB) in endometrial carcinoma, and analyze their clinical significances. Methods:The expression of BDNF and TrkB was tested in 11
cases of normal endometrium, 16 cases of hyperplasia endometrium and 31 cases of endometrial carcinoma by using
immunohistochemistry, and their relationship with the clinicopathological characteristics of endometrial carcinoma were analyzed. Results:BDNF and TrkB were negatively or weakly positively expressed in the normal endometrium, while they were positively
expressed in the hyperplasia endometrium and endometrial carcinoma, statistically significant differences were found between the three
groups (P<0.05). The expression of BDNF and TrkB in endometrial carcinoma were significantly correlated with the tumor cell
differentiation, clinicopathologic staging, myometrial invasion and lymph node metastasis of endometrial carcinoma (P <0.05).Conclusion:The interaction of BDNF with TrkB may play an important role in the occurence and development of endometrial
carcinoma, so the combined detection of them may have important referent meanings for the preoperative condition assessment and
prognostic prediction of endometrial carcinoma. |
