Objective:To explore the relationship between level of blood glucose and birth weight in gestational diabetes (GDM).Methods:97 cases of patients were selected in our hospital with gestational diabetes from June 2012 to June 2014 as research objective, and they were randomly divided into strict group (50 cases) and loose group (47cases) according to the randomnumber table method, and 50 cases of health pregnant women were selected as control group, to analyze the relationship between level of blood glucose and birth weight. Results:The control group's blood glucose level, weight of newborns and the incidence of macrosomia were significantly lower than strict group's and loose group's (P<0.05); The strict group's blood glucose level, weight of newborns and the incidence of macrosomia were significantly lower than the loose group's (P<0.05); The pregnant women's blood glucose level were positively correlated with the birth weight (r=0.72, P<0.05).Conclusion:The pregnant women's blood glucose level were positively correlated with the birth weight. Prenatal to strict glycemic control in patients with GDM is helpful to reduce the incidence of macrosomia and advantageous to the health of pregnant women and newborns, which is worth promoting to the clinical field.
