Both quantity and quality of male testicular sperm decrease with age. Spermatogonial stem cells are the starting point
for sperm production, which determines the quantity and quality of sperm production, and spermatogonial stem cells niche is to regulate
spermatogonial stem cell self-renewal and differentiation of important factors. In the aging process, stem cell micro-environmental
degradation, spermatogonial stem cell self-renewal and differentiation imbalance is considered to be aging causes testicular germ
functional decline of the main factors. This article provides an overview of aging caused by spermatogonial stem cells and niche change
and its effects on reproduction-related research. |
