Objective:To determine the role of PAR2 in adhesion between colorectal cancer cell and extracellular matrix.Methods:Adhesion assay was performed to study the role of PAR2 in adhesion between colorectal cancer cell and fibronectin or
Matrigel. PAR2 was either activated with the activating peptide or knocked down with shRNA in cancer cell lines.Results:Activation of
PAR2 significantly increased the adhesion ability of cancer cell with extracellular matrix. And PAR2 knocking down impaired the
adhesion between cancer cell and extracellular matrix.Conclusion:PAR2 plays an important role in cancer cell adhesion. |
