Objective:To investigate the expressions of CCR9 and CCL25 protein in different ovarian tissues and the relationship between their expression and clinical pathological factors of epithelial ovarian cancer patients. Methods:Tissue microarray and immunohistochemistry were used to detect the expressions of CCR9 and CCL25 in 78 cases of epithelial ovarian cancer and 30 cases of normal ovarian tissues. The relationship between their expression and clinical pathological factors of epithelial ovarian cancer patients was statistically analyzed. Results:The expressions of CCR9 and CCL25 in epithelial ovarian cancer was high, but in normal ovarian tissue their expression was low. The expressions of CCR9 and CCL25 did not correlate with histological type and age of patients (P>0.05), while there was a positive correlation between the expressions of CCR9 and CCL25 with lymphnode metastasis, histological grade and clinical stage(P<0.05). The expression of CCR9 was associated with that of CCL25(P<0.05).Conclusion:CCR9 and CCL25 may play an important role in the development of epithelial ovarian cancer, which may be a potential molecular target for the treatment of epithelial ovarian cancer.
