Objective:It is serious and common that the multiple complication on the early stage of rehabilitation for patients with severe empyrosis that could influence the length and quality of patients’life with a high rate of mortality. This essay aims to explore different interventions to prevent the complications for patients with so as to provide a reference for clinical nursing.Methods:66 patients with extensive empyrosis who were treated in our hospital from January 2011 to November 2012 were selected and randomly divided into the conventional nursing group and the hierarchical management group with 33 cases in each one. The patients in the conventional group were served by the regular nursing methods, while the patients in the hierarchical group were classified on the basis of the conditions, and distributed to nursing staff with different levels of expertise. Then the clinical effects, the incidence of complications and the satisfaction about nursing of patients were observed and compared between two groups. Results:The incidence of complications of patients in the hierarchical group was 42.3% which was lower than 69.7%of the conventional one (P<0.05). The quality of nursing, the compliance of patients and the satisfaction on nursing service in the hierarchical group were significantly higher than those of the conventional group with statistically significant differences (P<0.05).Conclusion:It is suggested that the hierarchical management on nursing for patients with extensive empyrosis should be well promoted to the clinical nursing practice with the advantages of reducing the incidence of complications, modifying the distribution of nursing staff which helps to optimize the quality of nursing service and improve the satisfaction of patients.
