Objective: To investigate the construction and significance of digital three-dimensional model of in vivo female pelvic venous vascular network based on computed tomography angiography. Methods:The original Dicom 3.0 datasets were obtained from one cervical cancer patient by CTA. Then the pelvis, pelvic artery vascular network and pelvic venous vascular network were reconstructed by inputting the datasets into Mimics 10.01 software. Results:The digital three-dimensional model of pelvic venous vascular network can clearly show the inferior vena cava, the common iliac vein, the external iliac vein, the internal iliac vein and its primary branches, bilateral ovarian vein, et al. Combined with the view of venous vascular network with pelvis and pelvic arterial vascular network, the anatomic structure and drainage region of pelvic veins are much more clearer. Conclusion:The three-dimensional construction technology is a good method to investigate the female venous vascular network, which may have great potential in clinical practice.
