ABSTRACT Objective: To explore the behavior and influencing factors of children with nephrotic syndrome. Methods: 60 patients enrolled in our hospital from January 2015 to March 2016 were selected as the observation group, 50 healthy volunteers from the same age group were selected as the control group. The demographic questionnaire was used to investigate the behavior of the children, including the family status, prevalence, activity and hormone usage. The Rutter Children's Behavior Questionnaire was used for children behavior surveying. Chi-square test was performed for univariate analysis, logistic regression was adopted for multifactor analysis. Results: The incidence rate of A behavior problem(18.33%), the incidence rate of N behavior problem(20.00%) and the total behavior problem incidence(38.33%) in observation group were significantly higher than those in control group(P<0.05). Logistic regression analysis showed that the duration of illness, the number of relapses, the total number of hospital days, the average daily outdoor activity time, hormone duration and total hormone usage were influencing factors of behavior of NS children, the average daily outdoor activity time was a protective factor. Conclusion: NS children were with more serious problems than those of healthy children. The behavioral problems are affected by factors such as duration of disease, number of relapses, total days of hospitalization, daily outdoor activity, hormone duration and total hormone usage. |
