Objective:To explore the correlation between serumvascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF)and inflammatory factors
in patients with rheumatoid arthritis(RA).Methods:59 patients with RA treated in our hospital fromJanuary 2014 to December 2015
were selected, including 32 RA active patients (RA active group)and 27 RA remission patients (RA remission group), and selected 30
healthy physical examination people as the control group in the same period. The serum VEGF, interleukin-6 (IL-6), tumor necrosis factor-
α(TNF-α)were detected with double antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay method in three groups, and the C-reactive
protein (CRP)was detected with immunoturbidimetric assay method in three groups. The correlation between serum VEGF and
those three inflammatory factors in patients with RA were analyzed with Pearson. Results:Serum VEGF, CRP, IL-6 and TNF-αin three
groups were statistically different (P<0.05), which in RA active group, RA remission group and control group were reduced in turn, and
the pairwise comparison were statistically different (P<0.05). Serum VEGF were positively correlated with CRP, IL-6, TNF-αin patients
with RA respectively (r=0.556,0.517, 0.682, P<0.05).Conclusion:Serum VEGF and CRP, IL-6, TNF-αwere all over expressed in patients
with RA during the pathological changes, and there is a synergistic effect between VEGF and inflammatory factors. |
