| Metal on metal hip prosthesis is widely used in total hip arthroplasty because of its good activity, However, due to
metal on metal hip prosthesis can produce large amounts of cobalt-chromium metal ions and go into the body with a high levels in blood
and urine,.The elevated levels of metal ions could have a negative impact on the body, this article will give a review about the influence
of metal ions on the body after metal on metal total hip arthroplasty. |
